As per the latest news reports, Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar would be official twin cities soon.In a first for Gujarat, the urban development authorities of the two cities are working together to make a joint development plan (DP) for the two cities. Ahmedabad Urban Development Authority (AUDA) and Gandhinagar Urban Development Authority (GUDA) officials will jointly work on a DP for Ahmedabad and Gandhinagar. This means both AUDA and GUDA will have one DP.
